Nos encontramos ante una nueva edición del molde reciente de Tamiya del Mercedes AMG-GT3 Ref.24345, esta vez con la decoración del equipo de carreras LEON Racing patrocinado por la marca de relojes Cvstos. Este coche cuenta con un potente motor V8 de 6,3 litros y carrocería con empleo principal de la fibra de carbono, alrededor de un bastidor especial de aluminio. Se trata de una conversión del coche deportivo clase GT3 realizada por la division AMG de altas prestaciones de Mercedes.
This is a new edition of the recent Tamiya mould of the Mercedes AMG-GT3 Ref.24345, this time with the decoration of the racing team LEON Racing sponsored by the watch brand Cvstos. This car has a powerful V8 engine of 6.3 liters and body with main use of carbon fiber, around a special aluminum frame. It is a conversion of the GT3 class sports car made by the AMG high performance division of Mercedes.

Vemos que los anclajes de las piezas a la matriz se encuentran en lugares que afecten lo menos posible a las zonas visibles de la maqueta, no existen rebabas ni huellas de expulsores, es un plástico excelente, podemos ver la finura de los detalles como las branquias del capó y laterales. Los neumáticos de goma, presentan una línea de molde central que se puede lijar sin problemas.
We see that the fittings of the pieces to the trees are located in places that doesn´t affect the visible areas of the model, there are no burrs or traces of ejectors, it is an excellent plastic, we can see the finest level of details such as the gills of hood and sides. The rubber tires have a central mold line that can be sanded without problems.
CONCLUSIÓN
Como es de esperar en Tamiya, muy buena calidad exterior y muy bien despiece, hay que destacar el hecho de que la carrocería principal venga en una sola pieza, lo cual facilita enormemente la tarea de pintura y colocación de calcas, sobre todo a los mas novatos. Las piezas cromadas son de un detalle finísimo y no recomendaría decaparlas, pues no presentan rebabas ninguna y sus detalles son finísimos. Interiores suficientemente detallados para hacerlo de caja, pero por supuesto mejorarían con algunos detalles extra como cinturones o cuadro de mandos.
Hay un kit de detallado para esta maqueta que incluye fotograbados para mejorar diversos componentes tales como rejillas, frenos, motor, válvulas, etc, muy recomendable para modelistas experimentados.
SET DE MEJORA PARA MERCEDES AMG TAMIYA
As is to be expected in Tamiya, very good external quality and very good quartering, it is necessary to emphasize the fact that the main body comes in a single piece, which greatly facilitates the task of painting and placement of decals, especially for novices. The chromed pieces are of a very fine detail and I would not recommend pickling them, because they do not present any burrs and their details are superb. Interiors sufficiently detailed to make it of box, but of course they would improve with some extra details like belts or control panel.
There is a detailed kit for this model that includes photoengraving to improve various components such as grids, brakes, engine, valves, etc., highly recommended for experienced modelers.
